This is a unique opportunity to join an organization that is making a real difference in the lives of children with critical illnesses. We are currently seeking a professional and passionate candidate to fill the role of Business Analyst within the Technology and Innovation team.

The role is critical in the delivery of Make-A-Wish International’s present and future organizational strategy, so we need someone who is passionate and driven to make a positive impact. As a Business Analyst for Make-A-Wish® International, you will play a crucial role in the Salesforce ecosystem (and other applications) by acting as a bridge between business needs and technical delivery.

  • Location – Hybrid position. Preference to be in the Netherlands. Remote work from other countries may be considered.
  • Fixed Term Contract – 1 year as per policy with likely extension based on performance.

As our Technical Business Analyst, you will:

  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Create configurable solutions that comprise of automation, reports, custom objects and permissions while working alongside our Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer and CRM partners.
  • Manage various projects, including gathering information, planning, and executing projects (not limited to Salesforce).
  • Formulate and maintain Salesforce solution documentation. (e.g., process flows, data models, and technical specifications)
  • Works with the design team to ensure that the most significant business operations are addressed.
  • Educates and promotes CRM standard procedures to guarantee that the solutions produced are highest in class for the business’s overall strategy and ethos.
  • Develop requirements documentation for various projects (such as Salesforce, Data and Analytics) that adheres to the processes for elicitation, documentation standards, and maintains a consistent format.
  • Familiarity with the backlog grooming process, attributes, review, and approval process.
  • Plan and monitor scope by ensuring that needs are within the SOW’s scope and communicating any variances for inclusion in the change control process.
  • Assist the Senior Product Manager in defining value, priority and selecting scope for upcoming releases by facilitating the continuing backlog grooming process.
  • Maintain a functional grasp of the business requirements and project solutions.
  • Provide Salesforce training and end-user support.
  • Play a key role in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.

Requirements and Skills‍

  • Excellent knowledge of and shown proven expertise with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Knowledge of development tools and processes that will aid in formulating use cases and designing project requirements.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced atmosphere while managing various requests is needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build sustainable applications.
  • An analytical problem solver who knows and employs declarative automation and Salesforce ecosystem features.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities, as well as the ability to communicate successfully with both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, management information systems, or a closely related discipline is required.

· Ability to grasp the requirements of clients from diverse sectors and translate/present those demands into a compelling vision and roadmap for our clients.

· Excellent knowledge of Scrum, Agile and technology such as Jira and SharePoint.

· Salesforce implementation experience across the whole Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

· Located in one of the Northern Europe Region Nations or Make-A-Wish International Office, Hilversum, Netherlands. Other European locations than the ones mentioned may be considered as well. We appreciate and value individuals from all backgrounds.

Other skills and experience that you will bring:

· Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification is a must.

· Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder (Preferred).

· 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar environment.

· Exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases.

· In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities.

· Willingness to grasp new technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and understand data needs across the enterprise.
