Yaay…She got the Job.
Millicent, an undergraduate student from the University of Portharcourt, studied Biochemistry and enrolled with us Heels & Tech just before she graduated.

Shortly after she did, she landed a job in a financial institution as a Business Process Analyst with the help of Heels and Tech.

In the history of Heels and Tech we have had more women transition from non-technical backgrounds (most times with zero knowledge of Tech) to Technical backgrounds.

This process is usually not the easiest thing to do, but gratefull, we have had lots of success stories. We have had those who went from Music to Business Analysis, Dentistry to Data Analytics, Religious studies to data analytics, Law to Business Analysis and a host of others.

We have had more than one student go through this route of training before graduating with their first degree.

Her soft skills, the training she got from Heel, and Tech set her up to excel on the job. Millicent was a really studious student, diligent and committed. She ensured to volunteer in our peer to peer session.

We didn’t hesitate in referring her because of her dedication. We have been privileged to refer more than seven employees to the financial institution.
