Sr. Specialist, Enterprise Education – Instructional Designer
Job Description Summary
Developing technical training on Majesco’s software solutions and toolkits to various learning audiences is essential for our growth. In this role, you will be a member of the Majesco Enterprise and Partner Education (EPE) Team focused on the re-design and ongoing development of technical products and toolkits. These learning assets will support Majesco’s transition to a self-paced learning model to drive scalability. Use of instructional design tools, specifically Articulate (Rise 360 and Storyline) is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads technical training design projects by collaborating across Majesco Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define the right level of content for course design.
- Follows the end-to-end Instructional Design ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) in the creation of all learning assets.
- Uses training design software to create micro-module learning including animation, videos, and other interactive options to engage learning (Articulate)
- Designs complex training modules or virtual labs requiring learner to experience practice in real-world situations electronically.
- Prepares content outlines, scripting, knowledge checks, voiceovers and other logistics needed to create interactive micro level self-paced learning modules.
- Learning management system platform oversight, use or administration based on assignment or as back up.
- Uses immersive, problem-based learning approaches to ensure hands-on experiences and retention of information and skills.
- May develop show-me simulations in eLearning that demonstrate within the course how to do something on a Majesco system.
- May design and/or re-design courses spanning soft, professional, technical, and product courses applicable to a learner-centric model.
- Prepares and/or updates curriculum as required.
- Leads activities to maintain collaborative partnerships across Majesco and with external partners as applicable.
- Ensures accessibility standards are followed in the design and development of eLearning materials, adhering to WCAG 2.1 guidelines to create inclusive and accessible learning experiences for all users.
- Follows Majesco brand standards in training, communication, and materials.
- Will be empowered to lead assignments and drive a learning culture at Majesco.
- Other duties as assigned.
Typical Skills and Experiences
Education: Undergraduate degree or global equivalent required.
License/Certification/Designation: Required: Instructional Design experience with Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline. Prefer training, design or performance improvement certifications, and/or affiliations. SAFe®, PMP and/or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
Experience: Typically, 3-5 years of experience in all aspects of training and development with emphasis on instructional design of eLearning self-paced learning. Prefer 2+ years technical training domain, software, and other technology experience. Course facilitation and experience in training effectiveness metrics is a plus. Insurance experience across various Lines of Business (Property & Casualty and/or Life & Annuity or group products) is a plus. Virtual lab instructional design and/or development is a plus.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: Proven knowledge and experience in leading and developing learning assets is required. Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to execute, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to lead others in executing high-quality work within aggressive timelines, building and maintaining strong client and partner relationships, and consistently meeting or exceeding company objectives. Experience with Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) solutions in an Agile environment is a plus. Preferred skills include knowledge of HTML and JavaScript for enhanced development and customization of digital learning solutions.

What Majesco Offers:
Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 – $125,000.
