Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Digital Content Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be working directly with the CEO and senior management by providing operational support to our fast-growing virtual digital content team. As a key player in our team, you will be instrumental in seeing through the daily content operations, collaborations, and social media strategies across various platforms. In this role, you will coordinate a content team of copywriters, designers, and other contractors to ensure that our digital content meets the highest standards of quality and delivery. Additionally, you will be responsible for collaborating with our partners and vendors to ensure that our website and digital products continue to evolve and meet the needs of our customers. While this position is remote and flexible, it’s important that you are able to attend regular meetings in Eastern Time and have a quiet dedicated place to work within business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
General:
- Coordinate and guide the content creation team through weekly meetings, task coordination, and launch-based project management.
- Coordinate the promotion and launch of new guides, courses and services, working with the content creation team to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee and collaborate with our podcast and technology partners on podcast sponsorships and web development initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of our project management tools.
- Assist in marketing efforts and collaborations with partners and partnered products.
- Collaborate with senior management regularly on strategic planning sessions.
- Review, maintain and develop SOPs for all digital content processes, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Social Media Coordination and Planning:
- Oversee the creation and implementation of social media strategies, including approval of content and management of the content library.
- Develop and maintain a monthly Content Creation Calendar to guide content strategies.
- Create, curate, and distribute newsletters, ensuring they align with the overall content and marketing strategy.
- Set up and maintain the weekly social media feed, ensuring creative direction and consistency.
- Strategically plan and execute weekly stories on Instagram.
- Schedule and curate engaging content on Threads for the week.
- Schedule engaging content on YouTube Shorts for the week.
- Plan and organize feed posts on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, aligning with the overall content strategy.
- Engage with and manage the online community, including adding members to the Facebook group and interacting with followers.
- Collect and document user responses and feedback, utilizing tools like Google Docs for organization.
- Edit, review, and revise Reels and covers for social media feeds.
- Manage the development of ad assets with the content team
- Set up and oversee strategically targeted ads on Meta and Google Ads.
- Track and analyze ad results on Meta and Google Ads, including making recommendations and optimizing ads on a weekly basis. Must also be comfortable navigating Google Analytics to track conversions.
Podcast Coordination and Support:
- Efficiently create and update podcast show notes, including adding relevant information and embed codes.
- Upload blog post onto website and audio to podcast platform.
- Organize and manage podcast folders and content on Google Drive.
- Coordinate and implement email sequences for podcast guests.
- Assist in the overall management and organization of podcast production.
- Produce and coordinate the weekly podcast release, including corresponding with the sound engineer.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in digital operations and coordination
- Proven communication skills, with experience coordinating teams of copywriters, graphic designers, sound engineers, and other contractors.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven track record in creating and executing effective advertising campaigns
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of digital product delivery platforms, social media platforms, email marketing software, project management tools, and podcast hosting platforms
- Education in a related field
- Proficiency in graphic design tools and video editing software
