My name is Oyindamola and I currently work with a Healthtech company as a Quality Assurance Manager.

I had come across Business Analysis as a career path a couple of months back but I didn’t know how to get started until I stumbled on Heels and Tech on IG. I had a lot of questions and did a bit of back & forth before I eventually paid to register for the Business Analysis program.

The training was a really intensive and productive one and it came with hands-on support. I got to work with other people in a team and we actually did all the work, went through the process up till the point of prototyping an app even though we all started as total newbies to anything Tech. We were trained on the use of various tech tools (Slack, Jira, Lucidchart, Figma)

Our facilitator, Petrina, was so helpful. Always willing to answer our many questions and patient enough to put us through over and over. Overall, the Heels and Tech team ensured we were equipped with MOST of what we need to excel as business analyst (for the remaining, Google is my best friend ?)

One of my greatest takeaways from the class is the renewed mindset. The fact that success as a BA is really an inside job, and so I need to believe in myself and believe that I can do all that is set before me.

I am glad to have come across Heels&Tech when I did and to have gone through the Business Analysis training when I did. Thank you Heels&Tech for helping women like us get a head start in the tech world! We will make you proud ?
