Eligibility/Qualification
- For PhD Candidates: Successful university degree in chemistry or a comparable field.
- For Post-Doctoral Candidates: Successful university degree in chemistry or a comparable field along with a doctorate in electrochemistry, physical chemistry, chemistry, materials science, materials engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry, polymer physics, and electrochemistry.
- Familiarity with analytical techniques related to battery cell production and characterization.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Description
The positions involve active contributions to the synthesis, characterization, and application of novel monomers and polymers in energy storage technologies. Candidates will engage in the following activities:
Area A:
- Synthesis and characterization of polymers for photoelectrochemical cells.
- Evaluation of sustainable synthesis routes.
- Summary and publication of research findings.
Area B:
- Characterization of polymer membranes using advanced methods.
- Assembly and electrochemical testing of polymer-based batteries.
- Publication of results in English.
Candidates will be part of an interdisciplinary, international team within a dynamic research environment.
