This job contributes to Starbucks success by leading and driving the future of Global Reporting at Starbucks! We are looking for a seasoned program manager with a strong background in decision science and reporting to lead our Finance reporting transformation and bring our capabilities to the next level. Key elements will include:
- Driving Starbucks toward world class reporting / analytics
- Identifying, prioritizing and managing the programs / initiatives to achieve defined objectives
- Lead a diverse group of functional and technical Partners to define, build, test, deploy and refine reporting / analytic capability
- Challenging teams to drive to effective, long-term functional + technical solutions
- Working across Starbucks to leverage best practices / effective solutions
As the lead for driving the finance global reporting program, you will…
- Establish, gain alignment, and implement reporting objectives, working with cross functional teams to address pain points. Review and optimize overall Power BI data model, including governance and management of models.
- Conceptualize,  manage and maintain centralized tools (including PowerBI reports and dashboards) that the business and Analytics teams can use to extract data / insights for business management.
- Manage, coordinate, and lead resources who will be:
- Gathering requirements, in partnership with cross functional teams, to help curate data products.
- Leading the development or reports and validation of data, including extraction and synthesis of data from various databases.
- Driving data visualization to produce relevant, standard, or custom information (reports, charts, graphs and tables) from structured data sources
- Owning data modeling, with the ability to procure and manipulate large scale, complex data from a variety of systems and spot anomalies and data issues and work cross functionally to resolve.
- Supporting and educating finance users on tools and helping build data competency.
We’d love to hear from people with:
- 8 Years of experience in specific field or utilizing designated skills
- 8 yrs application within reporting, leading and implementing methodologies and tools.
- 8 yrs managing complex large-scale business or information technology projects.
- 8 yrs building and mentoring teams.
- 6 yrs Mentoring others in report development and reporting program and project management.
- 8 yrs General business experience in large, matrixed organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of database & business system architecture.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Strong systems/reporting analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Competency in PowerBI, Incorta, Alteryx and other data visualization and analytic tools.
- Ability to influence others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion
Familiarity with the following tools is highly desired:
- Azure Cloud
- Data Bricks
- Anaplan
- EBS
- Cloud / SAAS integration approaches via API
