ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a strong financial background and experience working in a fintech or core banking environment.The successful candidate will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from identifying business
opportunities and defining product strategy to documenting requirements, coordinating development, managing launches and measuring product performance.We need a commercially minded, analytical and hands-on individual who can work across teams to deliver products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Strategy & Ownership: Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap and prioritization across the business, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth targets.
- Product Discovery & Research: Identify customer needs, market opportunities, competitor offerings and product gaps to inform product decisions.
- Requirements & Documentation: Develop clear PRDs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and business rules that guide design, development and testing.
- Financial Product Management: Understand and manage financial workflows, including payments, transaction processing, settlements, reconciliation, fees, commissions, wallets and ledgers, as applicable.
- Financial & Commercial Analysis: Assess product profitability, revenue opportunities, operational costs, business cases, ROI and the financial impact of product decisions.
- Agile Delivery Management: Manage product backlogs, sprint priorities, refinement, planning, reviews and delivery timelines in collaboration with Engineering and the wider team.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate Engineering, UI/UX, QA, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Compliance and Customer Support to ensure successful product delivery.
- Technical Feasibility & Integration: Work with Engineering and Architecture teams to assess technical feasibility, APIs, integrations, dependencies, scalability and system requirements.
- Quality Assurance & Release Management: Ensure acceptance criteria are met, testing is completed, defects are addressed and products are ready before release.
- Risk & Regulatory Alignment: Collaborate with Risk, Legal and Compliance teams to incorporate relevant regulatory requirements, security controls and operational safeguards into product development.
- Product Performance & Analytics: Define KPIs, monitor product usage and business performance, analyse trends and use data to guide improvements.
- Customer Experience & Retention: Improve user journeys, onboarding, conversion, engagement and retention by addressing customer pain points and usability issues.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate product priorities, timelines, risks, decisions and performance updates clearly to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Launch & Go-to-Market Coordination: Work with Marketing and Operations on product positioning, launch plans, customer communication, training and adoption.
- Production Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Coordinate with Engineering and QA to prioritise bugs, resolve production incidents and ensure recurring issues lead to lasting improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Review product outcomes after launch, gather feedback and maintain a prioritised roadmap of improvements.
- Product Process & Governance: Establish and maintain consistent product management standards, documentation practices, decision-making processes

- Team Leadership & Accountability: Take end-to-end responsibility for product outcomes, coordinate product team members where applicable and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ Product Management experience.
- Previous experience working in a fintech company, core banking environment or financial technology business.
- Strong understanding of financial products, transaction workflows and business operations.
- Proven experience taking products from concept through development and launch.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and cross-functional product delivery.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex business and financial requirements into practical product solutions.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, digital payments, banking platforms or financial systems is an advantage.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Technology or a related discipline is preferred.
