Arul Health is the navigator beside every patient — a knowledgeable, tireless, compassionate presence for people and families moving through serious illness. We are a small Boston-based team of builders, caregivers, and patients who believe technology should reduce suffering, not add to it.
We are hiring an Operations & Growth Lead to help us scale what we are building — thoughtfully, and without losing the warmth that makes Arul what it is. This role sits at the intersection of company operations, go-to-market, and patient acquisition. You will be the person making sure the business actually runs, the patients who need us can find us, and the partnerships we need keep getting signed.
This is not a traditional “growth marketer” or “COO” role. At this stage, it is one person who can do both. We need someone who is equally comfortable writing a landing page, mapping a referral funnel, negotiating a contract with a health system, setting up our first CRM, and sitting with a family at their kitchen table to understand why they almost did not call us. Why Arul We take patients seriously. We protect dignity. We bring clarity to chaos. We are just getting started, and the choices we make now — how we grow, who we partner with, how we talk about what we do — will define the company. If you want to help shape that, come build with us.
- Own patient acquisition end-to-end: channels, funnels, messaging, conversion, and retention.
- Build and run the business operations that keep us functional: finance, legal, vendors, hiring logistics, and data rooms.
- Develop and close partnerships with hospitals, oncology practices, employers, and advocacy groups.
- Design and run outreach experiments: content, events, community, paid, referral. Double down on what works.
- Build the metrics and dashboards that tell us whether we are actually helping patients, not just acquiring them.
- Partner closely with our clinical and product teams so that what we promise and what we deliver stay the same thing.
- 5+ years in operations, growth, chief of staff, or early-stage generalist roles.
- A track record of owning outcomes end-to-end in ambiguous environments.
- Sharp written and verbal communication. You can explain Arul to a patient, a health system CFO, and an investor in the same afternoon.
- Comfort with data: building dashboards, running experiments, reading the numbers honestly.
- A deep, non-performative sense of mission. The people we serve are going through the worst year of their life.
- Experience in healthcare, health tech, or a patient-facing service business.
- Background selling into or partnering with hospitals and health systems.
- Experience building a function from zero.
- Lived experience as a patient, caregiver, or navigator.
