Job Description
Job Summary:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and translating those requirements into technical specifications. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that software solutions align with the organization’s strategic objectives and meet the needs of end-users.
Responsibilities:
● Client requirement gathering.
● Create clear and comprehensive requirement documents, user stories, use cases, process flows, and other relevant documentation to facilitate development and testing.
● Effectively ensure clear communication and alignment among cross-functional teams.
● Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure successful implementation of software solutions.
● Collaborate with QA teams and business users during UAT to ensure requirements are accurately implemented, defects are identified and resolved, and the software meets business needs.
● Regularly update and maintain requirement documentation, process flows, user guides, and other relevant documentation to reflect changes, updates, or enhancements.
● Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in software development and business analysis, sharing knowledge with the team to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
● Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
● Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
● Proficient in requirements gathering techniques, business process modeling, and use case development.
● Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with stakeholders.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions.
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
KPIs:
● Documentation Quality:
○Evaluation score for the clarity, completeness, and usefulness of requirement documents, user stories, process flows, and other related documentation produced by the business analyst.
● Stakeholder Satisfaction Score:
○ Average score or feedback from stakeholders (e.g., product owners,project manager, users, developers) regarding the quality and effectiveness of the business analyst’s work.
● Requirement Accuracy Rate:
○ Percentage of requirements gathered by the business analyst that are correctly interpreted and implemented by the development team without major revisions.
