About
The Creative Fellowship places emerging talent on dedicated creative teams at Google, gaining exposure and hands-on experience across many of our in-house creative departments. The 6-month program aims to provide an enriching experience, while ushering in a dynamic network of creative talent with fresh perspectives and a strong “maker-first” approach.
Projects
The Creative Fellowship experience differs across participants. Each Fellow will be placed on a Google creative team and work on real projects under that team’s guidance. Here are a few projects that past Creative Fellows have worked on, across four teams: Brand Studio, Creative Lab, Google Cloud Brand & Creative, and YouTube Creative Studio.
The Creative Lab is a team of designers, writers, programmers, filmmakers, producers, and business thinkers whose mission is to remind the world what it is they love about Google. Our job is to make Google’s magic more magical, help advance and invent Google’s future, and to communicate Google’s innovations, intentions, and ideals in ways that makes us all immensely proud.
As a Creative Technical Motion Artist, you’ll be a maker who loves to peek under the hood of AI and push the boundaries. You’ll move beyond perfect prompting, to bridge the gap between research and beautiful pieces of animation. Whether you are a designer who’s learned to love Python or a coder with an eye for motion, you will thrive in the creative “grey area” of emerging tech. You’ll turn technical glitches into art and build the tools that help others create.
