Your Mission
To lead and continuously improve InnovateHer’s growing digital learning platform, ensuring it delivers exceptional, tailored experiences for our students, teachers, and schools. You’ll oversee all platform-related work, lead our e-Learning team, and use data to shape decisions that amplify our impact and continue to drive our mission forward.
Role Outline
InnovateHer’s digital platform is at the heart of how we empower students and schools. What began as a minimum viable product during the pandemic has now evolved into a thriving learning hub for young people across the UK.
We’ve seen the number of students grow from a small pilot in 2021 to 3,500 learners in 2025. We’ve learnt a lot about our students and teachers in this time, with teachers at the centre of this and the key people who onboard more students to learn from our materials. Our teacher growth has excelled what we expected in 2025 and this is why we need a Product Manager to drive the next phase of the platform forward.
We’re developing a more personalised and impactful experience for our students and teachers. This involves taking on the research and discovery phase we’ve conducted with teachers this year and improving the UX and features on the platform to support their needs. We need to refine how teachers and students navigate through the platform, whilst still maintaining the development of our course content which is led by our e-Learning Lead. Over this period the Digital Product Manager will continue to leverage our platform analytics and research to guide any future developments. A key part of the role at this time will be working alongside the CEO to seek further investment for the build of this enhanced platform. Therefore the ability to see and communicate a compelling vision and present a clear roadmap, will be essential.
As our Digital Product Manager (maternity cover 9-12 months), you will have the opportunity to play a key role in leading this transformation. Over this period, you’ll take overarching responsibility for all platform activity, from product strategy and delivery to performance, analytics and user satisfaction. You’ll manage and guide the e-Learning Lead, ensuring seamless collaboration between product, schools and the delivery teams.
Working closely with our Schools Team, you’ll identify opportunities for innovation and growth within our partner and non-partner schools, using feedback, engagement and your insights from teacher and student data and relationships to drive platform improvements.
Our ultimate goal is to establish the InnovateHer platform as the leading and go-to platform for inclusive tech education, creating a digital experience that feels personal, inspiring and essential for every student and teacher we reach. This maternity cover role, gives you the opportunity to play a key role in achieving this goal, whilst working alongside an ambitious team on a cause you are passionate about.
