What is this role about?
As the Credit Risk Optimization Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving Bondora’s credit risk decision-making process forward. Your primary goal will be to enhance the company’s underwriting workflows and credit assessment models, optimizing how credit risk is managed across existing and new markets. You will collaborate with key stakeholders such as the Risk, Data Science, and Engineering teams to build and manage a roadmap of improvements, ensuring that Bondora remains competitive and efficient in its credit risk management.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Build and execute a product roadmap to optimize Bondora’s credit risk decision processes.
- Work closely with development teams, prioritizing tasks directly impacting business goals like portfolio growth.
- Oversee migrating existing systems, such as the pricing engine, to more modern platforms like Taktile.
- Ensure transparency and maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders on all underwriting and risk process developments.
- Monitor underwriting performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks in real time.
What would ensure success in this role?
- Strong background in product management or credit risk management within financial services.
- Proven ability to manage development teams and tasks using Jira.
- Experience with decision engines such as Provenir, Taktile or others to enhance the product configuration flexibility with limited technical assistance
- Ability to clearly articulate technical changes to non-technical stakeholders.
- Organized approach to managing complex workflows and risk assessments.
