DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Business Analyst for a leading insurance company in Nigeria.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives across life insurance, general insurance, trustees, and investment services. This role requires expertise in requirement gathering, gap analysis, process re-engineering, and change management to optimize operations and enhance business processes.
Interested candidates should have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field, with at least 5 years of business analysis experience within financial services, preferably with exposure to insurance, trustees, and investments.
Salary range is ₦4 000 000 – ₦5 800 000 gross per annum

Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience within financial services, preferably with exposure to insurance, trustees, and investments.
· Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is advantageous.
Skills and competencies
. Proficiency in analyzing complex processes, conducting gap analysis, and providing actionable insights.
. Understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
. Experience with process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
. Familiarity with change management frameworks to support business transitions.
. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and project management software (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA).
. Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of facilitating requirements gathering and UAT sessions
. Skilled at managing relationships across diverse teams, balancing competing priorities effectively.
. Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality documentation for requirements, processes, and project deliverables.
. Skilled in using Microsoft Visio for creating process flows, diagrams, and other visual aids that enhance communication and understanding.
. Ability to align projects and processes with broader organizational goals.
