It truly has been a helluva of ride! The late nights were entirely worth it. My scrum meetings were 8pm. I’d get home just about that time or even later but nonetheless I was able to catch up. Through the process , I’ve realized that other than BA, product design is a hidden skill that I can and will be fine tuning. The first time I saw Figma, I’m like what kind of problem is this? But team members and I, we eventually made sense of it. Created a prototype even created a chat bot, I didn’t think I could do it. What’s even better is, not a single line of code was written. The sacrifice and inconvenience of working and running this intense course through the past 7 weeks has been worth it. I’m definitely not where I was when we started, my mind is bigger, my understanding is broader and I know that I can do this. I’ve always wanted a remote job paying in $ and this step is one in the right direction. The confidence and understanding I’ve gained on the course is ridiculous, I’m not there yet, but I know I can get there and in time my learning will go past what I’ve learned at H&T, everything has been an eye opener, even to LinkedIn optimization, I can see all the ways my previous approaches/efforts were less than par. The course has given me a solid start point in my BA journey. I now understand why we’re encouraged to look beyond the certificate for now, the hands on learning experience that Heels and Tech offers is unmatched. I’m glad I took the course and by God’s grace, I’ll be back soon to tell you that I’ve gotten my dollar paying remote job. Special mention to Petrina who is such an awesome facilitator, I’ll be disturbing her from time to time 😁. It’s also great that Iyanu and Bisola were present in some of sessions. It showed that you were concerned about our learning process as well. It’s been a tough but rewarding experience.

I’m a banker. My experience with the BA course was transformative though very hectic as I had to combine it with my work and ICAN exam. Our facilitator was patient with us and was ready to spend all day teaching 😂 Heels and Tech is a hands on training center for people looking to learn tech skills. They also keep abreast with the continuous innovations in the tech space. I’ve been armed with a whole lot of resources to start my BA journey and I intend to make the best use of it to land a BA role. My communication and collaborative skills has tremendously improved by working with my team mates for 8 weeks

I'm a Successful business owner. I own a kiddies store where I sell clothes, shoes and accessories. My experience during the 7 weeks training and my daily scrum meetings were at first very challenging especially for the fact that I had no prior knowledge of BA before and I have never worked in a cooperate organisation. Everything was looking strange and at a point I asked myself can I do this? I remember when I saw Figma,I had headaches but with the help of My Mentor "Gladys" I was able to scale through. Working with my Team mates on our project,chatbox,prototype was tasking and at the same time fun. My facilitator was incredible,patient and very good at what she does. I can't forget my wonderful Mentors as well..Gladys and Gbeminiyi,they were very fantastic and Understanding. Special shout out to Heels and Tech for this opportunity to gain knowledge and meet great minds especially my Team mates. H&T is indeed a great platform and they are blessed with wonderful and experienced hands. I now have a renewed mindset that I can do it no matter how difficult it looks all I need is to be very intentional and give it my all by practicing constantly. I am still work in progress but excited that I'm not where I used to be. My mind is bigger now and I know that no matter what,I can do it!

The class was fantastic! It was a real eye opener for me, at the beginning I was scared and overwhelmed with so much information especially as it was a field I had no idea about but when the scrum meetings started it was an easy breeze I'm glad to have met my group members, although we were just 4(being the smallest group) everyone pulled their weight and I have made new aquaintances for the future Our facilitator was a good teacher although she's a bit too soft spoken for me 😂 Destiny? OMG! Destiny was a fantastic mentor and I am glad I met her! Overall this has given me a wonderful platform into BA and I look forward to developing myself and writing the exam this year

I'm Alex Obidi, a graduate of computer science and a quality assurance analyst. I chose to take the business analysis course to diversify my skills. During the 7 weeks training the experience was intense as I had to joggle work and scrum meetings. However the experience was worth it because it was a hands of training. It gave me the feeling of working as a business analyst in a real organization. The trainer Mrs Petrina was very subtle yet very impacting and she carried the whole class along. She's a very gentle and patient trainer. Heels and tech is doing a really great job of impacting students and bringing IT to ladies looking to navigate into the tech industry

Hi.. I an Karimah Lawal. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Post graduate diploma in Education. I am an Entrepreneur and a Teacher. Of course, I thought to myself that I deserve much more than what I earn, reason I registered for the BA course. The last eight weeks of training was indeed an eye opener. I was introduced into the world of tech with #no-code.. how fascinating! I learned how to work with tools such as Office 365 to collaborate with my team. I also learned how to use Visio, draw.io(UML diagrams), Jira, Confluence, Lucid Chart, Figma (On how to create user persona, design , wifeframing, prototyping, etc to complete BA tasks. Our project was about creating an App for a Microfinance Bank who wants to improve their HR processes i.e, they want to migrate from the manual way of doing things to automation. We had the opportunity to meet with the project sponsor/stakeholder.. we had an elicitation session in order to know the requirements. I worked with other development team members like the scrum master, product owner, QA, etc. We had daily scrum meetings where we were able to research and brainstorm to understand the requirements of the business and create the solution that would meet the needs of the business. Our facilitator Petrina, very patient, knowledgeable and experienced. Always willing to go back if anyone doesn't understand. By the way, my group had the best mentors. Oyeyinka and Erin.. ooh, always willing to help us understand a lot of things. God bless them. Thank you so much Heels and Tech. You've really helped me personally with a renewed mindset. Hello. I’m Eberechukwu and I’m into Facility Management and procurements. This course was an eye opener to me because informally I have acted as a PM as well as a BA without even knowing it. Furthermore, this course has given me adequate knowledge of the BA role and some of the major tools required to execute a BA task/project. My trainer, Petrina Akor, is well grounded and very mild spoken. She’s patient and answers every question no matter how many times it is repeated. Choosing Heels and Tech as my institution of instruction has proven wise because of the intensive training with hands on projects to ensure we digest what we have learned in class. I came out of this training with a positive mindset that I can actually take on any role given that I put in the work to learn and practice.--- Eberechukwu I’m currently a nascent entrepreneur and also an ex-banker with 9yrs plus experience in the Nigerian financial industry. 2, I decided to up-skill while leveraging on my skills gained as a banker and in the process of researching, I came across a fintech app project done by the previous cohort (12) on IG and that piqued my interest in Heels and Tech and particularly BA. My 7 weeks experience was more than I expected. I learnt from scratch how to use new technical/design tools (figma, lucid chart, Visio,Jira, chatbot etc). I also learnt BA skills and requirements and also had the opportunity to work on a HR application project with my team where we all took on different roles weekly (product owner, business analyst, scribe, scrum master). It was tasking but worth every minute spent in our weekly long hours of scrum meetings, zoom weekend classes and also personal researches. My mentor Destiny was absolutely helpful in every step. Our Trainer Petrina was super patient and a very knowledgeable trainer. Her calm disposition made the learning process smooth. Heels and Tech: if you are looking for professionalism and a platform to up-skill with ease, then heels and tech it is. I now have the drive to forge ahead in a new career path with my existing and newly acquired BA skills. Thanks to H&T, I’ve built a new network.

I am a Practicing Legal Practitioner who works with a Law Firm. Besides law practice I run businesses within and outside my area of law. A friend adviced me to learn some basic tech skills and we agreed that product management would be a perfect start 😂😂but I was advised by Heels and Tech representative to go for Business Analysis since we would also be taught Product Management…. I must say it has turned out to be a great decision for me because I was always excited about the classes and Scrum Meetings. I was so eager to learn something new….. oh! Petrina would take her time to explain and explain, Our Mentors were amazing too, they would attend to all questions out of meetings and in the meetings… My Team mates were the best… We became families because we bonded very well…. Heels and Tech renewed my mindset, meeting other people from different fields and background made me to want to know more about other fields….--- Chimbroma Seriously I never knew the course will be this loaded and insightful. I av looked into other tech companys taking BA but after careful review, I decided to pitch my tent with Heels and tech and I av been recommending you to a lot of my friends and colleagues who wants to also explore the tech space. I think I got value greater than the money paid Yea, my mentors were really so supportive and always there to answer all your questions and the daily scrum meeting was really tasking cos it runs into night but very helpful. My background is Account Management in the Oil and Gas space. I’m an Engineer, started or on the Rig and then back to the office to coordinate operations and most recently managing accounts My experience during the 7weeks training- Met with stakeholders and project sponsor for Bisola Microfinance Bank. They had a manual HR process and were looking to automate it Elicited to know what the current state was as well as requirements, went back with my team and through series of scrum meetings built a business casefrom the stakeholders requirements. -Creating user personas using lucid charts , Started, tracked and closed weekly sprints on Jira, - developed process flow diagrams using Visio , - developed UML used case diagram using lucidart , - prepared use case model document referencing the process flow and UML Used case diagram , - created wire frame and prototypes for the HR software using figma , - developed brand kits for the bank using Canva and Included an Artificial intelligence assistance using chatbot for the software we proposed to the stakeholder

With over 9 years in the banking sector, it was definitely time to switch things up! BA came to mind and Heels and tech was top of mind. The past 7 weeks was intense and exciting from the daily scrum meetings to the weekend classes..My team worked on creating an HR Application for a bank. I learnt how to properly understand a task,wite a business case and using different tools such as Jira Figma Lucid chart Visio and the chatbot creation for the application. We had amazing mentors Gbeminiyi and Gladys and my teammates were awesome. We worked hard and bonded well. My trainer was patient and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions-oh, I had them coming. Heels and tech gave me my first hands on experience as a BA and am soo grateful for the time spent learning. Thank you for bridging the gap between women and tech and sharing all the resources with us via the LMS. I have learnt a lot and fully prepared to launch into my role as a BA As petrina said "it's all about the mindset" Thank you Heels and Tech!
