AWS AI & ML Scholars empowers up to 100,000 learners globally to build foundational AI & Agentic AI skills, with graduates receiving up to three months of AWS Skill Builder access to continue their learning journey.

Through a Challenge Phase based on the AWS AI Practitioner learning plan, you’ll gain hands-on experience with real AWS tools like Amazon PartyRock and Amazon Bedrock, explore practical AI use cases and apply responsible AI best practices.

The top 4,500 learners, selected based on assessment performance, will advance to a fully funded Udacity Nanodegree scholarship, preparing them for specialized, AWS-aligned AI careers.

    Phase 1: Challenge Phase

    • Based on the AWS AI Practitioner Learning Plan
    • Self-paced foundational AI & Agentic AI training using real AWS services
    • Earn a Certificate of Completion upon successful participation

    Phase 2: Udacity Nanodegree

    • Runs 08/04/2026 to 11/04/2026
    • For 4,500 top assessment-performing students from the Challenge Phase
    • Choose from three specialized, career-aligned Nanodegree tracks
    • Project-based learning designed to build job-ready AI portfolios using AWS AI services

How does it work?

  1. Step1

    Build Your AI Foundation

    Start with the AWS Artificial Intelligence Practitioner Learning Plan and develop practical, career-relevant AI skills using real AWS tools.

    During the Challenge Phase, you’ll explore:

    • Core AI concepts and generative AI technologies.

    • Natural language processing and computer vision applications.

    • AWS services including Amazon PartyRock Data preparation, model training, deployment and monitoring.

    • Responsible AI best practices and real-world case studies.

  2. Step2

    Extend Your Learning with AWS Skill Builder Access

    Challenge Phase completers will receive three months of AWS Skill Builder access, providing additional exposure to AWS AI content and tools.

    This extended access allows you to continue building practical AWS knowledge, reinforcing your skills beyond the core program experience.

  3. Step3

    Specialize in a Future- Focused AI Career Track

    Top 4,500 learners based on assessment performance will advance into one of three Nanodegree tracks, aligned with in-demand AI roles.

    Each track includes hands-on, portfolio-ready projects that prepare you to apply AI skills in real-world roles.

Program Details

Future AWS AI Programmer

Designed for those building a strong technical AI foundation.

In this track you will:

  • Master advanced Python for data analysis and visualization
  • Build familiarity with Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer (PCEP) concepts
  • Train machine learning models using PyTorch
  • Explore neural networks, including transformers

This pathway builds the programming depth required to contribute directly to AI and ML model development.

Future AWS Agentic AI Business Professional

Built for business and technical professionals who want to leverage AI without heavy coding.

In this track you will:

  • Use Amazon Quick Suite tools to build AI agents and BI solutions
  • Transform and analyze data using QuickSight Datasets
  • Design, deploy, and optimize AI-driven decision systems
  • Automate intelligence gathering and business workflows

This pathway focuses on using AI to analyze data, generate insights and automate workflows in real business contexts.

Future AWS Agent Engineer

Structured for those ready to build production-grade agentic AI systems on AWS.

In this advanced track you will:

  • Build AI systems using Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Nova models
  • Apply prompting strategies, reasoning patterns, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Develop single-agent systems with tools, memory, and APIs
  • Orchestrate multi-agent systems using Amazon Bedrock Agents

Hands-on portfolio projects include:

  • A supply chain AI agent
  • A multi-agent travel concierge system

This pathway prepares professionals to design and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions using AWS services.
