Your Role Will Include:
- Own the end-to-end UX for Kernel’s core product: flows, IA, interaction design, and visual craft
- Lead user discovery: interviews, insights, and turning findings into shipped changes
- Prototype quickly using Figma, v0, Figma Make, or other tools
- Collaborate tightly with engineering and PM to iterate fast
- Build lightweight design principles, patterns, and systems
- Occasional support with decks/narratives (5% “other stuff”)
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience shipping meaningful product work with clear decision-making outcomes
- Strong ability to simplify complexity
- Capable of independent user discovery
- Fast-moving, clear communicator, and collaborative with engineers
- Strong taste and execution: prototyping and production-level details
- Willingness to work in-person in London (not fully remote)

Interview Process
Stage 1: Introductory call (30 minutes)
Stage 2: Portfolio deep dive (45 minutes)
Stage 3: Take-home assessment with on-site working session (60 minutes)
Final Stage: Founders Interview – A conversation with Anders (CEO) and Marcus focused on values alignment and long-term vision (60 minutes).
Following Mutual Fit: Reference checks and offer stage.
Compensation Range: £85K – £137K
