This job contributes to Starbucks success by developing and leading global coffee experience programs. Responsible for managing complex cross functional projects and programs led by the Global Coffee education and experiences team. Would be responsible for creating comprehensive frameworks, systems, and tools that empower markets to successfully implement and scale coffee experiences within their organizations.

As a global coffee education and experiences lead, you will…

·         Project manage Origin Experience programs representing global coffee education and experiences for North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

o   Manage day-to-day relationships with cross-functional teams and external global vendors to facilitate program implementation of Origin Experience.

o   Manage multiple global projects simultaneously, ensuring all timelines are met and communications are timely to all global business units.

o   Manages global program and project budget and resources effectively, acting as a subject matter expert for use of resources.

o   Communicates effectively with global teams and leads intentional meeting management. Proactively clarifieroles and responsibilities.

·         Facilitate and lead three Origin Experiences programs on the ground in Costa Rica, Indonesia and Rwanda.

o   Generate energy and passion in the learning environment and role models delivering experiences in an engaging, educated and comprehensive way which are all precisely timed to all sizes of audiences. Skilled in adjusting the message, tone, and delivery style based on the size of the group and their level of expertise to ensure clear communication and impactful engagement. Capable of simplifying complex topics for non-experts or providing in-depth analysis for knowledgeable audiences.

o   Effectively designs processes and procedures to mitigate brand risk and ensure partner safety while overseeing an international multiple day program.

o   Experienced in working with large datasets and dashboards to track program performance. Skilled in analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of initiatives, identifying key metrics, and uncovering opportunities for continuous improvement. Leverages data-driven insights to make informed recommendations and drive operational efficiency.

o   Prioritizes work on the global project team, seeking input and managing upwards as necessary to nimbly adapt to shifting priorities and feedback, bringing team and leaders along.

·         Design and facilitate coffee experiences in the Seattle Support Center for internal and external audiences.

o   Designs comprehensive, interactive global experiences based on business need, partner engagement strategies or specific requests

o   Champions Starbucks Mission and Values, coffee and sustainability related goals and commitments holistically with internal global teams and external audiences.

We’d love to hear from people with:

·         As passion for coffee education and experiences

·         Must have the ability to travel internationally for up to 50% of the time, including up to 3 weeks straight

·         Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

·         Must be able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours per day.

·         5+ years leading programs and projects and/or leading strategy programs, project and cross-functional teams

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
